1.The Doors

Date: March 1st, 1969
Venue: Miami

The Doors Concert was held by Jim Morrison. Unlike other concerts where Jim swallowed anything offered to him by fans, and still performed, the March 1, 1969, concert turned chaotic. After drinking too much alcohol, the singer started to yell at the audience and attacking the policemen. Hence, the concert became messy and performance substandard. The late singer also did the unthinkable on stage when he flaunted his male organ. He passed on, though, when his case was still on appeal.

The hype was all about how George Harrisons’ rock concert became one of the largest rock fundraisers in the seventies. The event was organized as a small political fundraiser for assisting refugees in Bangladesh. The concert attracted about forty thousand fans who witnessed incredible performances from George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton (collapsed onstage), Billy Preston and Ravi Shankar, an Indian.
